Andrew Wiggins Scores Team-High 22 Points
4 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins scored a team-high 22 points on 7-for-17 shooting in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers. Stephen Curry was limited to 20 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. produced a 17-point performance. Wiggins had another poor shooting performance, and he even struggled at the line with a 4-for-7 effort, but he did manage to sink a season-high four triples with seven attempts. He also had a big effort defensively with a career-high five blocks. Wiggins has now recorded 10 blocks in the past three games, but the Warriors need more offensively from him. He has a chance to provide it against the defensively inefficient Nuggets next. Denver allows 111.8 points per 100 possessions, which is the fifth-worst mark in the league, and small forwards are shooting 51.5 percent against them, which is the second-worst mark in the league.
