Andrew Wiggins Scores 28 Points On Sunday
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins shot a poor 9-for-23 from the field, including 3-for-10 from behind the arc on Sunday against the Lakers, but he still managed to collect 28 points to share the game-high with Karl-Anthony Towns. Wiggins also had five rebounds, two assists and one block in what turned out to be Tom Thibodeau's final game in charge of the team. Wiggins had his ups and downs with Thibs, but currently, he's playing some nice bball, scoring 21.6 points per game across the last five outings. The Wolves are back out there on Tuesday against OKC, which could be another good matchup for Wiggins. He had 30 points against the Thunder in the first meeting of the season on Dec. 23.
