Andrew Wiggins Scores 23 Points In Big Win
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Andrew Wiggins had a solid game in a big win over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. He scored 23 points on an efficient 9-for-16 shooting and also went 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. Wiggins also added five rebounds, three assists and two three-pointers in his 36 minutes of action. With Jimmy Butler (knee) out, Wiggins has stepped up his scoring recently. Over his last seven games, Wiggins is scoring 21.7 points per game on 46 percent shooting while also hitting 2.1 three-pointers a game. Although Wiggins won't do much besides score, he will be a reliable asset for points in the fantasy playoffs. Wiggins could be in line for another solid scoring game next time out when his team takes on the Washington Wizards. The Wizards defense has been slipping as of late, giving up 113 points per game in their last three games.
