Andrew Wiggins Leads T-Wolves In Scoring On Sunday
7 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Andrew Wiggins led his team in scoring during the 104-101 loss to the Rockets on Sunday. Wiggins scored 18 points in Game 1 and shot an acceptable 7-for-15 from the field. He also contributed six boards, but was virtually quiet outside of his offensive output. Wiggins, who averaged 17.7 points during the regular season, continued to produce similar numbers in this one and with center Karl-Anthony Towns and guard/forward Jimmy Butler both being non-factors, Wiggins was forced to step up. However, with the narrow loss, Towns and Butler will both come out firing in Game 2, possibly taking away some touches from him, which is something DFS players will have to keep in mind come Wednesday night.
