Andrew Wiggins Explodes For Season-High 40 Points
4 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Andrew Wiggins had a huge performance on Friday against Memphis, finishing a 116-103 win with a season-high 40 points. He shot 14-for-24 from the field and 6-for-11 from downtown with a 6-for-9 record at the line. Wiggins' line also included eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals. The former first overall pick is cruising nicely right now, hitting at least 50 percent from deep in four consecutive outings and even racking up steals in a hurry. He's the guy the Warriors are looking at with Stephen Curry (tailbone) out. The two-time MVP is considered very doubtful for Saturday's rematch with the Grizzlies, so Wiggins could go off again.
