Andrew Vaughn Day-To-Day With Sore Back
2 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn (back) is considered day-to-day, says manager Pedro Grifol. Vaughn has a sore lower back and will rest for a few more days. Vaughn was 10-for-31 (.323) during spring games so far, so the injury comes at a somewhat inopportune time for the youngster. The former third-overall pick is looking to build on a solid 2022 season and was showing well this spring. Hopefully, the few days off are all Vaughn needs, and it won't become a more significant issue. It shouldn't affect his draft position right now. He is currently going 142nd in upcoming fantasy drafts and is the 142nd-ranked player on RotoBaller. If Vaughn is back in the lineup in a couple of days, draft as you would.
