Andrew Stevenson Outrighted To Triple-A
1 year agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Andrew Stevenson has been outrighted to Triple-A St. Paul on Friday. The 29-year-old was nearly unstoppable at the plate before being called up to the big league roster in September. He slashed .317/.394/.522 with 16 homers and 44 steals in 106 games before being moved up to the Twins. After that, Stevenson slashed 189/.250/.216 in 40 plate appearances for the Twins last season. The Twins didn't want to commit a 40-man roster spot to him. It's unlikely he becomes a significant contributor even if he leaves the Twins this offseason.
