7 years agoMontreal Canadiens forward Andrew Shaw (head) was injured in Tuesday's game against the Dallas Stars. Shaw was attempting to hit Greg Pateryn when it appeared that his head collided with Pateryn's. Shaw immediately collapsed and had to be helped off of the ice. Head coach Claude Julien indicated that Shaw was not taken to the hospital after being helped off, and had not heard if Shaw was diagnosed with a concussion yet. Shaw suffered two concussions last year, which raises more concerns with a potential head injury. Shaw is typically a consistent contributor in the hits and penalty-minutes categories, but he should no longer be a fantasy consideration with the remainder of his season in doubt.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
