1 year agoMiami Marlins left-hander Andrew Nardi (triceps) will continue his minor-league rehab assignment and throw one inning for Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday after tossing a scoreless frame on Tuesday. Manager Skip Schumaker said that Nardi could be activated from the injured list next Tuesday, Aug. 1. He's been on the injured list since the Fourth of July, but the Marlins bullpen will be getting him back soon. Before landing on the injured list, the 24-year-old southpaw had a 6-1 record, 3.19 ERA (4.14 FIP), 1.12 WHIP, his first two major-league saves, seven holds, 11 walks and 48 strikeouts in 36 2/3 relief innings in his second big-league season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
