Andrew McCutchen Continues Abysmal Stretch
6 years agoArriving in New York to aid the outfield, Yankees outfielder Andrew McCutchen has struggled immensely with his new club. The former N.L. MVP is hitting just .152 in 11 games with the Yankees, continuing the struggles that struck him in San Francisco. On Wednesday night, once again batting from the leadoff spot, he struck out twice in four hitless plate appearances. The Yankees are 5-6 since he arrived and have seen their lead in the A.L. Wild Card race dwindle to just one game as the Oakland Athletics continue their push towards hosting the game in three weeks.
