Andrew Mangiapane Scores His 15th Goal Of The Season
3 years agoCalgary Flames winger Andrew Mangiapane did the business once more in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Boston, scoring his 15th goal of the season in a short-handed situation in the third period. He's the first Flames player to score 15 goals through their first 19 games in a season since Jarome Iginla in 2001-02 and the third player in league history to score at least 14 of his first 15 goals of a season on the road. Mangiapane finished last season with 18 goals in 56 games, so it's been a huge improvement from the 25-year-old. He sadly doesn't seem to like playing at home, so don't expect too much from Mangiapane in the upcoming games, but the Flames start next month with a four-game road trip and we should then get ready for some more fireworks.
