Andrew Luck Puts Forth Lackluster Performance Against Chiefs
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck completed 19 of his 36 pass attempts for 203 yards and a touchdown in a 13-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round. He also added two carries for 17 yards on the ground. In a juicy matchup against a bottom-two passing defense from the regular season, the entire Colts offense was a virtual no show and was outscored in the game by their special teams unit. Luck's usual velocity and comfort in the pocket was disrupted by both the snowy weather and the Chiefs pass rush, which managed to sack him three times. While his fantasy owners might not be too happy about his lackluster performance in the NFL playoffs, Luck should remain the front runner for the Comeback Player of the Year Award and be recognized as one of the stronger options at the quarterback position in fantasy football.
