Andrew Luck Propels Colts to Playoffs with Big Game
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck completed 24 of his 35 pass attempts for 285 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception in a 33-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. He also added seven carries for 17 yards on the ground. While Luck threw an ugly pick-six in the second quarter to keep the Titans hopes alive, it should not overshadow how effective the Colts were in the red zone. All three of Luck's passing touchdowns came inside Tennessee's 20 yard line, with the Colts converting on four of their seven trips to that part of the field. After putting up one more three touchdown effort to thrust the Colts into the AFC Wild Card Round, Luck is certainly the front-runner to be comeback player of the year with 4,592 passing yards, 39 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions on the 2018 season. Luck will have a great opportunity to produce once again against the Houston Texans in their first bout of the playoffs, who Luck trounced for 863 passing yards, six touchdowns, and one interception when he faced them in two contests this season.
