Andrew Kittredge Notches Fourth Save On Wednesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Andrew Kittredge threw a scoreless inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Oakland Athletics. The 32-year-old entered the ninth inning to protect a three-run lead and retired all three batters he faced to earn his fourth save of the season. He's been terrific as Tampa Bay's primary closer, converting all four save opportunities while posting a 1.46 ERA, 0.49 WHIP, and a 12:1 K: BB across 11 1/3 innings in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Kittredge as he's become one of the most reliable closers this season.
