3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) completed his second bullpen session Friday afternoon. He threw 30 pitches in the session. According to Dodgers beat writer Bill Plunkett, the southpaw could begin throwing to live hitters after he has one more bullpen session. The 30-year-old has been sidelined for over a month now due to left shoulder discomfort. He dazzled in his second outing of the year, striking out 11 Cincinnati Reds over six scoreless innings. That strong performance, coupled with the Dodgers' strong track record with pitchers, makes him a worthy stash in all but the most shallow of fantasy leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
