Texas Rangers left-hander Andrew Heaney was shelled for seven runs in his debut with the team in his previous start. In his Rangers debut, he allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two across 2 2/3 innings. The 31-year-old signed a two-year, $25 million contract with Texas this offseason. Heaney will look to bounce back against the Royals on Monday. The southpaw draws a favorable matchup as Kansas City's offense has scored more than five runs just twice this season. The Rangers are a -175 favorite over the Royals in Monday's contest. Heaney posted a 3.10 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 110:19 K: BB ratio over 72 2/3 innings for the Dodgers in 2022.
