Andrew Heaney Likely To Make One More Rehab Start
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Andrew Heaney (shoulder) struggled in his first rehab outing with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga last Saturday. He gave up six hits and four earned runs over 2 2/3 innings while recording two strikeouts. He was tagged for two homers in the outing. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated after the outing that Heaney would likely have another rehab start before returning to the team. Mitch White, who is starting Thursday's game against the San Francisco Giants, will be bumped from the rotation once Heaney is back. The 31-year-old has been plagued by shoulder issues this year, limiting him to just three starts with the Dodgers. Over those three starts, he's posted a 0.59 ERA and a 0.85 WHIP.
