Andrew Heaney Continues To Make Progress
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Andrew Heaney (shoulder) could face hitters at extended spring training Sunday. He threw innings off a mound on Thursday and could face live hitters for the first time since mid-April. The 30-year-old continues to make progress but has no clear timetable for a return. He has been sidelined for over a month now due to left shoulder discomfort. The southpaw owns a 1-0 record and a 0.68 WHIP across 16 strikeouts over 10 1/3 innings in 2022. Heaney should be stashed in all league formats and will look to return to the mound soon.
