1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Andrew Chafin picked up his seventh save of the season in Monday's 6-3 win over the Phillies. Chafin came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth up by three. He got the first two outs on strikeouts, allowed a walk, and got the third out on another strikeout. The 32-year-old has split save opportunities with Miguel Castro in May but leads the team in saves for the season while compiling a respectable 3.38 ERA and 13.98 K/9 rate. It does appear that Chafin has the slight edge in the Diamondbacks' bullpen for the time being, making him worth a roster spot in at least all roto leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
