Andrew Cashner Tosses Quality Start In Loss Thursday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner pitched six innings of three-run ball (two earned) on six hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with three strikeouts on Thursday against the Twins. Cashner took the loss, but the start was encouraging nonetheless. The 31-year-old is now 2-9 with a 4.39 ERA, a 7.06 K/9 and a 4.01 BB/9 in 94 1/3 IP. Given the team he pitches for and his performance so far this season, Cashner has limited fantasy upside, especially as his next start Tuesday is against the Yankees.
