Andrew Benintendi Reaches Base Three Times In His Return
3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi returned to the starting lineup for Monday's game against the New York Yankees. He went on to go 1-for-3 with a pair of walks, an RBI and a run scored. Benintendi suffered a left shoulder strain in last Tuesday's game. He came on as a pinch-hitter in each of the team's three games this past weekend, but Monday marked his first start since last Tuesday. Over 84 games on the year, Benintendi is slashing .256/.310/.409 with 11 home runs, eight stolen bases, 39 RBI and 42 runs. He's a fantasy option in five-outfielder leagues, AL-only leagues and deep leagues.
