Andrew Benintendi Mired In 18-Game Homer Drought
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 6-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Benintendi has had a cold September, which has seen him fail to hit a home run while only tallying seven RBI and a .247 average. Benintendi still has outstanding numbers on the season with a .285/.363/.460 slash line to go along with 16 homers, 84 RBI, 100 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases. He remains one of the best sources of run production and speed, but he went cold at an inopportune time for fantasy owners. He is still a top-25 fantasy option for next season.
