Andrew Bellatti Gives Up Five Runs After Being Called Up
3 years agoMiami Marlins relief pitcher Andrew Bellatti was called up from Triple-A Jacksonville before Monday's game against the Washington Nationals. He pitched at the big league level for the first time since 2015. It's a nice story, but it didn't have a happy ending: Bellatti allowed five runs on five hits while getting just four outs. He's likely to be designated for assignment as soon as the Marlins feel like they need a fresh bullpen arm. For now, the 29-year-old has a 33.75 ERA.
