2 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Andres Munoz (shoulder) will start throwing off a mound and is set to begin a rehab assignment soon. He was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 9 with a right deltoid strain. The 24-year-old is trending in the right direction and is eligible to come off the injured list on Sunday, April 23. He has yet to allow a run and owns a 1.50 WHIP and a 3:1 K: BB across 3 1/3 innings in 2023. Munoz converted his only save opportunity and will split closing duties with Paul Sewald once he returns to action.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
