Andres Munoz Tosses Another Scoreless Inning
1 year agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Andres Munoz (shoulder) could return from the 15-day injured list as early as this Tuesday. Munoz made his latest minor-league rehab appearance on Sunday for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers and earned a save by throwing a scoreless inning. He didn't allow a hit, didn't walk a batter and didn't strikeout a batter in the outing. The 24-year-old right-hander has been out since April 9 with a right-deltoid strain, but he's looked good on his rehab assignment and hasn't allowed a single hit in his three outings on the farm. The M's are likely to ease Munoz back into high-leverage roles upon his return, but when he's healthy, he is absolutely valuable for his ratios and holds in deeper fantasy leagues.
