6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons was hit in the left hand by a pitch on Tuesday. He indicated that he is okay, and at the moment does not expect to miss any time. This is worth monitoring as a Simmons owner, as hand injuries can linger and could cost Simmons a game or two. The shortstop is hitting .303 with six home runs and six stolen bases on the year. If he has to miss any time, David Fletcher could slide over to shortstop with Luis Valbuena playing third.--patton
