Andrelton Simmons Has Quickly Turned Season Around
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is on fire right now, hitting .406 (13-for-32) over his last seven games, with four runs batted in and six doubles. The streak has jacked his batting average up from .197 to .273 in the course of only one week. He has a fantastic matchup Monday night as the Angels open up a series against the Yankees at home. Simmons is slashing .357/.357/.595 through 42 at-bats at home this season and will face Yankees left-handed starter J.A. Happ in the series opener. Simmons is hitting .320 through 25 at-bats against left-hander's this season, making the 29-year-old cleanup hitter a great DFS play for Monday's slate of games.
