Andrei Vasilevskiy Posts Third Consecutive Shutout
4 years agoTampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy had 28 saves for his third consecutive shutout in Tuesday's 2-0 road win at Dallas. He became the first goalie in franchise history to notch three consecutive shutouts and now has a 13-3-1 record for the season with a 1.65 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage. His run of good form will now be tested by a three-game set against Chicago. The Blackhawks are averaging 3.13 goals per game, but Vasilevskiy has never lost a regular-season outing against them, going 6-0-0 with 1.83 goals-against average, a .944 save percentage, and one shutout.
