Andrei Svechnikov To Sit Out At Least Four Games
16 seconds agoCarolina Hurricanes winger Andrei Svechnikov (undisclosed) will come out of the lineup on Friday against the Detroit Red Wings and is not expected to play before the team returns home from a four-game road trip. This is an unfortunate setback for Svechnikov, who just returned from a seven-game absence. However, Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour stated that the Russian forward is being held out only for precautionary reasons. As a result of Svechnikov's absence, Eric Robinson will move into the top six against Detroit. There have been very few moments to celebrate for Robinson in recent games, but he has had a career year in 2024-25 with 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) in 74 appearances,
