Andrei Svechnikov Doesn't Play Tuesday Due To Illness
12 months agoCarolina Hurricanes winger Andrei Svechnikov (illness) missed Tuesday's contest against the Philadelphia Flyers. Svechnikov appears to have caught the bug that is spreading around the league and was out of action last night. Brendan Lemieux replaced him in the lineup. Svechnikov has nine points (one goal, eight assists) in 12 games this season. He has mostly played on the second line and first powerplay unit, but has moved up and down the lineup as is the norm with Rod Brind'Amour coaching. His peripherals and decent point totals make him a must-start in fantasy when he is healthy.
