Andreas Johnsson Lights The Lamp Twice On Sunday
3 years agoNew Jersey Devils left-winger Andreas Johnsson continued his hot scoring streak with two more goals on Sunday. He gave the Devils a 2-1 lead early in the second period off a great play from Jesper Bratt. Then, Johansson completed the scoring with an empty-net goal and a 5-2 Devils win. The left-winger now has nine goals and 17 points in just 19 games. It has been quite the turnaround for Johnsson who managed just 11 points in 50 contests last season. At this rate, the Swedish winger could smash past his career-high of 43 points from his days with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
