7 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond had another big game, this time against the Hawks. The Pistons did not get the win, but that doesn’t matter. Drummond destroyed his projection and owned the box score. He’s established himself as the premiere rebounder in the NBA, and there are only so much that teams can do about it. The addition of Blake Griffin hasn’t hurt Drummond’s value and against the Pelicans, Anthony Davis will likely have his hands full dealing with Griffin, opening the floor up for Drummond. Davis and Drummond will face each other, but chances are head coach Alvin Gentry would rather exhaust Davis’ energy against the athleticism of Griffin. Drummond always has upside because of his size, but he has put up duds and the Pelicans have a player capable of making that happen.--Jake King-Finnen - RotoBaller
