Andre Drummond Notches Fifth Straight Double-Double
6 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond maintained his double-double form in Wednesday's Game 2 against Milwaukee, finishing a 120-99 loss with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Dating back to the regular season, Drummond now has five straight double-doubles to his name and 16 of them in his last 17 outings. Sadly for Detroit, Drummond's work in the paint hasn't helped them keep pace with the Bucks, who are heading towards a first-round sweep. You could actually say that Drummond has been a disappointment in the series, as Milwaukee has struggled to contain centers this season and Blake Griffin's (knee) absence has given him more opportunities to produce offensively. Drummond is averaging only 15 points and 14 rebounds through the first couple of games.
