Andre Drummond Dominates Against Timberwolves
6 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond took over with Blake Griffin struggling on Wednesday, leading the team to a 131-114 win over Minnesota with 31 points and 15 rebounds. It's his 16th straight double-double, which is the second-longest streak in franchise history. Drummond set the record last season with 18. He shot 11-for-18 from the field and 8-for-10 from the line, while even sinking his 10th career three-pointer. On the defensive end, Drummond provided two blocks and one steal. Griffin had just nine points, shooting 4-for-13 from the floor. He should be ready to roll again on Friday against Chicago. It's also a nice matchup for Drummond, who's averaged 14.5 points and 16.5 rebounds against the Bulls this season.
