Andre Burakovsky Tallies Two Assists In Win
7 years agoWashington Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky logged the secondary assist on both the Caps’ even strength goals in their Game 2 victory over the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Despite only having points in three games this postseason, Wednesday marked Burakovsky’s second multi-point outing; he scored twice in Game 7 of the ECF. Now riding a three-game point streak, the 23-year-old has three assists through two games of the Stanley Cup Final. He’s looked good so far in this series, but his ice time is limited. His five points during this point streak are his only of the postseason.

Andre Burakovsky Out Week-To-Week
1 year agoSeattle Kraken winger Andre Burakovsky (upper body) has been ruled out week-to-week. He returned from an upper-body injury, which kept him out for 20 games, on Thursday versus New Jersey, but Burakovsky unfortunately suffered a new injury blow in the contest and faces another extended spell on the sidelines. The Swedish winger has skated in only seven games for the Kraken this season, going without a goal and posting three assists. He's been a big miss, as Burakovsky averaged the second-most points among Kraken forwards last season as a top-six regular and power-play threat.

Andre Burakovsky Out For Up To Eight Weeks
1 year agoSeattle Kraken winger Andre Burakovsky (upper body) will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks. He was injured at the weekend against the Rangers and faces another lengthy spell on the shelf after being limited to only 49 outings a season ago. Burakovsky has totaled just two points in six games this season, but he's one of Seattle's most talented forwards, and his absence is set to leave a gaping hole in the Kraken lineup. Devin Shore is expected to enter the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Red Wings, while Tye Kartye and Kailer Yamamoto are candidates to move up in the lineup.

Andre Burakovsky Faces Spell On Sidelines
1 year agoSeattle Kraken winger Andre Burakovsky suffered an undisclosed injury Saturday against the Rangers and will likely have to miss multiple games. Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol said postgame that he doesn't think Burakovsky's injury will be short-term. It's an unfortunate blow for Burakovsky, as he already missed nearly half of the 2022-23 campaign. The Swedish forward has totaled two assists with no goals in six games this season. Devin Shore is projected to enter the lineup in Burkavosky's absence, while Kailer Yamamoto should get an opportunity to move up from the fourth line.

Andre Burakovsky Expected To Be Fully Ready For Training Camp
2 years agoSeattle Kraken left wing Andre Burakovsky (lower body) is expected to be fully healthy by the time training camp comes around, and general manager Ron Francis hopes to see a big season from him. "He was our leading scorer when he went out, so we're hoping he can come back and get to the level he's capable of," Francis told Geoff Baker of The Seattle Times. Burakovsky skated in just 49 games last season and made his final appearance in early February. After suffering a couple of setbacks in his recovery from a lower-body injury, he underwent surgery in April. Burakovsky finished his debut campaign in Seattle with 13 goals and 26 assists.
