Anders Bjork Scores Twice In Tuesday's Win
4 years agoBuffalo Sabres winger Anders Bjork scored two goals in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win against the Islanders, helping the team erase a 3-1 deficit. He also ended up with the lone goal in the shootout. Victor Olofsson finished with two assists and Michael Houser made it two wins in two career starts between the pipes with a superb 45-save effort. Bjork had a nice start in Buffalo after coming over from Boston, but the past few weeks have been unproductive from the 24-year-old, and he was six games without a point prior to Tuesday's action. Bjork has five goals and 14 points for the campaign in 43 outings with six of the points coming in 13 appearances for the Sabres.
