1 year agoAccording to Kelly Iko and Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Rockets are "very likely" to keep forward Amen Thompson out for the remainder of Summer League. The 2023 No. 4 overall pick had a solid showing in his unofficial NBA debut against the Trail Blazers on Friday, logging 16 points, five assists, four blocks, and three steals in 28 minutes. Unfortunately, Thompson's night ended abruptly because of a left ankle injury. It's understandable why Houston is considering sitting him, even if the injury isn't serious.
