1 year agoHouston Rockets forward Amen Thompson (ankle) exited early in Wednesday's meeting with the Charlotte Hornets. The 2023 No. 4 overall pick logged only 13 minutes before his premature departure because of a sprained right ankle, finishing with just four points. Houston doesn't play again until Saturday night against the Sacramento Kings, so there's a chance he may play. However, the Rockets can make do without him, meaning the team might play it safe by keeping him off the floor for at least a few games.
