Amed Rosario Wraps Up Road Trip With RBI
6 years agoWhile the New York Mets didn't enjoy a successful road trip, shortstop Amed Rosario showed signs of life at the plate. The 23-year-old recorded an RBI single in the first inning of Wednesday's 3-2 defeat against the San Diego Padres. It was his only hit on the day, but Rosario concluded his road trip with a .333 batting average. His performance at the plate has surged with the new month, as he's batting .308 in May. While his defensive performance continues to leave more to be desired, his turnaround at the plate is a welcomed one for fantasy owners who have held onto him.
