Amari Rodgers Held To Two Catches
Amari Rodgers caught two passes for five yards, adding two carries for 15 yards during their 20-10 win over the Saints on Friday. Of their top-six receivers, only Rodgers and rookie Romeo Doubs participated in the contest, providing an opportunity for Rodgers to showcase his talent. He was targeted five times but failed to surpass five receiving yards and does not appear in line to challenge any of the top-three receivers Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, and Randall Cobb for a starting role. Rodgers may be ahead of rookie Christian Watson (knee) because of his injury but will likely fall behind him once he's healthy, making him fifth or sixth on the depth chart and a player to avoid in drafts.

Colts Adding Amari Rodgers
Amari Rodgers signed with the Colts, the team announced on Wednesday. The 2021 third-round pick was recently waived by Houston and went unclaimed off waivers. He hasn't done much during his career, totaling 20 catches for 249 yards and one touchdown in 32 games. Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce are expected to be the top wideouts in Indy this season. Although Rodgers could work his way into the mix, it's unlikely, meaning he won't see much attention from fantasy managers heading into the 2023-24 campaign.

Amari Rodgers Catches Two Passes Against Jaguars
Amari Rodgers remained involved in the 31-3 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17 on Sunday. Rodgers caught both of his targets for 12 yards and also saw one carry for a four-yard gain. While it wasn't much, he continues to be involved in the passing attack with Nico Collins (foot) out for the season. In his five games with Houston after being released by the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers has nine receptions on 13 targets for 132 yards and one touchdown. The 23-year-old could continue to have a role going into the 2023 season for the rebuilding Texans, but he should be off the fantasy radar going into the final game of the season in Week 18 in a meaningless contest against the Indianapolis Colts.

Amari Rodgers Catches Touchdown Against Dallas
Amari Rodgers caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. His five targets were second on the team behind Chris Moore. Rodgers had played just 17 offensive snaps his joining the Texans coming into this one, but the team was down two key receivers in Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins. Rodgers would be an intriguing DFS play if Cooks and Collins miss more time, but this isn't the time of year for managers in season-long leagues to be taking a risk on a player who has barely seen the field.

Amari Rodgers Expected To Be Active
Amari Rodgers active again in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys with both Brandin Cooks (calf) and Nico Collins (foot) out. Rodgers didn't have any touches or targets in last week's loss to the Cleveland Browns, but that could change this week. The Texans will lean on Chris Moore and Phillip Dorsett in the passing game. Moore has 27 catches for 314 yards and two touchdowns this year, while Dorsett has 12 catches for 180 yards and one TD on 27 targets. The 23-year-old Rodgers only played 17 offensive snaps in Week 13, but he should have a bigger role this week, although it doesn't mean he should be considered for a flex spot in starting fantasy lineups.
