Amari Cooper Up In The Air To Play On Sunday
1 month agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced on Wednesday that there is no decision regarding the availability of new wide receiver Amari Cooper on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Cooper was traded to the Bills from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday for a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round pick. Whenever players arrive at a new team in the middle of the week, it is usually up in the air whether they will play. Once he takes the field, Cooper should immediately step into a role as the No. 1 wide receiver for a Josh Allen-led offense. Cooper has caught 24 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns thus far in 2024. He has struggled due to poor play from quarterback Deshaun Watson. However, Cooper is only one year removed from a 72-reception, 1,250-yard, and five-touchdown season. He should be able to produce those types of numbers once again once he is up to speed in the Bills offense. Cooper should be a WR2 in fantasy for the rest of the season.
