Amari Cooper Scores Two TDs In Week 17
2 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper caught three of his four targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-10 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 17. Cooper was held without a catch in the first half but he atoned for that after halftime. In the third quarter, he showed off his YAC ability on his first touchdown, avoiding a tackle down the left sideline and racing over 35 yards to the end zone. His second score came on a 33-yard reception in the fourth quarter. That second touchdown was his ninth of the season, setting a new career-high for Cooper, who finished with eight scores in both 2019 and 2021. He will finish off his first season with the Browns in a Week 18 road matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
