Amari Cooper Carries The Cowboys Offense In Week 8
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper led the team in all receiving categories in a Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Cooper was targeted 13 times, catching eight of those passes for 122 yards and a touchdown. Cooper's touchdown was a game winner, and reportedly the first in NFL history to be thrown by a quarterback (Cooper Rush) with the exact same first name as the receiver's last name. After seeing just 26 targets over the past five games, Cooper saw half that number in this one. He did exit the game temporarily with a hamstring issue, but the fact that he was able to come back into the game and play well likely means he'll be fine for Week 9 against the Broncos.
