Amari Cooper A WR3 In Week 13
12 months agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper suffered a rib injury in a Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos, catching just two passes for 16 yards before departing. Cooper is on track to play in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams despite the injury. He opened the week with a DNP on Wednesday but was upgraded to limited on Thursday and was able to practice fully on Friday. The Rams have been tough on opposing wideouts in 2023 as they are allowing just the 21st-most fantasy points per game to the position. That being said, the Browns will have veteran Joe Flacco under center in Week 13, a fact that might work in Cooper's favor. Flacco should be able to push the ball downfield a bit more than rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) had been doing in his past few starts. Fantasy managers can treat Cooper as a WR3 in Week 13.
