Amari Cooper A WR2 In Week 7
1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper got in a full practice on Friday after missing Wednesday's session for non-injury-related reasons. In more good news, Cooper could be getting his starting quarterback back in Week 7. Deshaun Watson (shoulder) missed the past two games with a shoulder injury but there are positive signs that he may be returning to action in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. That would be good news for Cooper, who caught just five passes for 124 yards with Cleveland's backup QBs over his past two games. This sets up as a quality matchup for Cooper as the Colts are allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to wideouts in 2023. Cooper can be treated as a mid-range WR2 if Watson plays and downgraded to more of a WR3 in fantasy if it is P.J. Walker under center instead.
