Alvin Kamara Stifled In Loss To Panthers
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara carried the ball eight times for five rushing yards, adding four catches on six targets for 25 receiving yards in a 26-7 loss to the Panthers. The Panthers defense completely stifled Kamara, who had nowhere to run despite leading the backfield in touches once again. While his down performance likely cost many fantasy managers their weekly matchups, it was a positive sign to see him lead the team in targets after he had a somewhat muted effort in the passing game in Week 1. Kamara's workload and talent still warrant easy RB1 consideration moving forward, even in a tough Week 3 matchup with the Patriots.
