1 year agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is coming off his worst game of the season, which also happened to be his lowest-volume outing on just 13 touches (averaging 25 touches per game before Week 9). The Minnesota defense is sneakily good against running backs, allowing the eleventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. That being said, Kamara remains a top option at the position due to his volume. He will remain the top dump-off option for quarterback Derek Carr, giving him a safe floor in PPR leagues. Kamara torched Minnesota in 2020 for six touchdowns in fantasy championship week and while that level of performance is unlikely, he historically has their number.
