Alperen Sengun Ruled Out For Friday's Game
3 years agoHouston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (thigh) has officially been ruled out for Friday night's game against the Sacramento Kings. The rookie is dealing with a left thigh bruise. He suffered the injury on Monday and he hasn't played since. Rockets beat writer Jonathan Feigen, who broke the news about Sengun, added that the Rockets rookie is "close to returning." So fantasy managers in season-long leagues should hold onto him if possible. Expect for the Rockets to give fellow rookie Usman Garuba another start at center on Friday. Garuba compiled eight points and seven rebounds over 26 minutes in his start against the Kings on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bruno Fernando came up with a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards on Wednesday. He's a sneaky fantasy option for Friday and should be prioritized over Garuba.
