Allen Lazard Quiet During Week 10 Victory
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught three of his four targets and gained 45 yards during the team's 31-28 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The four targets were the 26-year-olds fewest since Week 2, and it was the first time all season that he gained 45 yards or fewer and not found the end zone. This game was taken over by teammate Christian Watson, who scored three touchdowns and torched the Dallas secondary. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers recorded his lowest pass attempt total of the season, throwing the ball just 20 times. While the offense is likely to remain more balanced moving forward, the passing attempts in total will come down compared to the last nine weeks. Lazard will bounce back from what will go down as one of his worst fantasy performances of the season. Consider him a fringe WR2 next week when the Packers host the Titans.
