Allen Lazard Held In Check In Week 12
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught two of three targets for 24 yards during the team's 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It will go down as the lowest fantasy output of the season so far for the 26-year-old. Rookie wide receiver Christian Watson has emerged as the new top target in Green Bay, lowering Lazard's fantasy value moving forward. To top it off, quarterback Aaron Rodgers (thumb, ribs) left this game early, and his status for Week 13 is up in the air. Jordan Love looked good in relief of Rodgers, but we do not know who his preferred option to target is yet. However, Love did look for Watson early after entering the game, hitting him for a 63-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Lazard has a plus matchup against Chicago next week, but he should be considered nothing more than a FLEX option in Week 13.
